Achievements

By the decision of the Council of the National Academy of Sciences for the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 5, 2016, 3 educational programs of the department were accredited for the period of 5 years:

• 6B01505-Biology
• 6B05101-Biology
• 7M05101-Biology

These specialties have confirmed the high quality of the provided educational services.

Students of the Department are regular winners of international conferences and Republican subject Olympiads, competitions held by advanced Universities of Kazakhstan. According to the results of the Republican student subject Olympiad specialty “5B060700-Biology”, organized by the faculty of biology and biotechnology of the Kazakh national University. Al-Farabi in Almaty, in the team event took THIRD place in 2019., II place in 2018., The Second place in personal offset (Carigali Reshelved) 2017 and third place in the team competition in 2016.

The Republican student subject Olympiad on specialty “5В01130-Biology” Kyzylorda state University Korkyt ATA in the standings of Sansyzbaev Zhandos took THIRD place in 2019., in the team standings in Karaganda state University named after academician E. A. Bukenova first place in 2018., in the team standings at the Pavlodar state pedagogical Institute in 2017. took THIRD place 2016 in the standings of Sansyzbaev W took first place.

The department has diversified scientific and pedagogical cooperation: the department takes an active part in scientific projects and programs, joint publications (articles), conferences and on advanced training courses, scientists are invited to conduct courses in academic mobility programs. Up to date, the University has established close scientific cooperation with the Higher Education Institutions of Kazakhstan and countries of Commonwealth of Independent States and a number of theoretical and practical conferences are constantly being organized.

From November 16th to November30th  2017, in a competition organized by the Akimat of Aktobe and dedicated to the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness” of January 31st, 2017, the  senior student of the department  5В011300-Biology Adilkhanov Nurtas received A letter of gratitude from the Akim of Aktobe city.

In 2016, students 5B060700-Biology Amirova Gulnur and Smagulova Denmark participated in the project “Foundation for the creation of a nursery of crayfish and birds Irgiz-Torgay state reserve and monitoring”, won the title “Best young scientists of Aktobe region-2016” and were awarded a diploma of the 1st degree.

In the first semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, students majoring IN 5b011300, 5B060700 – Biology showed good results in international and scientific competitions.

Within the framework of the Startup project in the competition “ecosystem of student entrepreneurship” took the 3rd place with the theme “Rational cultivation of pitunia in the optimal way” (Kalieva S. K., Kairova S. T.), presenting her project.

In Ankara, 1st year undergraduates of specialty 6M011300-Biology, studying at Kastamonu University under the program of external academic mobility at the V Congress “international innovation and global problems” “KU Biogen” Shalkar, N. Tashigul participated with a report on the topic: “Environmental problems of The Baikonur space region” and received special certificates.

For the 85th anniversary of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov and services to the trade union of workers of education and science, Master, Senior Lecturer A. Abdukarimov was awarded a letter of thanks and a medal of the rector of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov.

For active participation in the competition “The Best curator-adviser-2021”, held by the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy and with the sponsorship of the trade union organization, senior lecturer of the Department of Biology, master Agadieva Marzia Saranovna was awarded a letter of thanks from the rector of the university

At the XIII Republican Student subject Olympiad in Biology-5B011300 among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov’s 2nd-year biology student-6B01505 Isatay Adil took the III place in the individual competition. Scientific supervisor Master’s degree, senior lecturer of the Department of Biology Syrymbetov S. T.

At the competition of research projects “A NEW BEGINNING OF SCIENCE” within the framework of the “Science Week-2021” of K. Zhubanov Russian State University, a 3rd-year student of OP 5B060700 – Biology Makueva B. M became the owner of the best project on the topic “Biotechnological methods for obtaining chocolate from fruits with high energy value”. Scientific supervisor Master of Pedagogical Sciences Tashigul N. E.

On March 2-3, 2021, the Center for Educational and Methodological Work and Distance Education of the Department of Organization of the Educational Process of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov took part in the competition “The Best methodologist-teacher of the K. Zhubanov Russian State University”, senior teachers of the Department of Biology R. N. Bisaliev and I. Zh. Moldekova, who were awarded a letter of thanks from the rector and valuable prizes with the support of the primary trade union organization.

Zhandos Sansyzbayev, a graduate of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, was awarded a letter of gratitude from the hands of the Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov. A letter of gratitude was presented to Zhandos Sansyzbayev for the fact that, under his leadership, a student Ernar Batyrzhanov won a bronze medal at the International Olympiad in Biology.

In 2019, at the republican competition of research works of students of higher educational institutions of Nur-Sultan, a letter of thanks was awarded to a student of the educational program “Biology” of the Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov, Abdigazym A. A. The topic of the research work “biotechnological methods of protecting vegetables and fruits from chemically hazardous elements”, scientific supervisor-Candidate of Biological Sciences, senior lecturer Kalieva A. K.

In the SRWS competition in the section “Biology” in 2020, AE Samatov, a student of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, was awarded a diploma of the II degree of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The topic of the scientific work is “Study of the effect of various phosphorus fertilizers on the germination of grain crops.” Scientific adviser – Ph. bn, art. teacher Ataeva G.M.

2021-2022 academic year from October 16 to 17, in the Republican tournament for the Cup of the Akim of Turkestan “Turkistan-shildir alany”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a 4th year student of the OP “Biology 5B011300” Shamitova Tolkyn Abzalovna took the third place.

On April 12-13, 2022, 3rd year students of the educational program 5B011300-Biology Isatay Adil and Egemberdy Nurdaulet took part in the Republican Olympiad among universities, held at the West Kazakhstan University. M. Utemisova and took 2nd place in the team event, 3rd place in the individual event.

     

The republican Olympiad among universities, held from April 21 to 22, 2022 at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was attended by 4th-year students of the educational program 5B060700-Biology Yerkin Askar, Urazaliev Berik and 2nd-year student OP 6B05101-Biology Bakhytzhan Dauletkhan, who took 2nd place in the team competition.

In the international competition “The Best student of the CIS”, organized by the National Innovative Research Center “Bilim-orkenieti” and the “Academy of the best Students”, a 3rd-year student, OP 6B01505-Biology, chairman of the student club “Zhubanov volleyball league” Isatai Adil Aidarbekuly won the diploma of the I degree and the diploma “Excellent Student of the CIS”. The scientific article was also included in the IV volume of the international student book collection of students of the Commonwealth of Independent States “Encyclopedia of Talented Youth”.

                  

On behalf of the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbekovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Biology, Candidate of Biological Sciences Bazargaliyeva Aliya Aidarkhanovna was awarded the badge “For merits in the development of science” and a letter of thanks from the Minister, Candidate of Biological Sciences Admanova Gulnur Bolatovna.

In the 2022-2023 academic year Shanbayeva Aidana Kairlykyzy, a 3rd year student of Biotechnology of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Natural Science, became the owner of a scholarship named after the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the XV Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions, held from April 19 to 21, 2023 on the basis of the Kazakh National University.Al-Farabi under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Biology J. I. Kuanbai, 3rd year student OP 6b05101-Biology Orynbasar Aisaule, 2nd year students Yakubova Zhemchuzhina and Ayapbergenov Meyrbek took 3rd place in the team competition of the group “Hippogriff”

In April 2023, at the international exhibition of projects “Bird of the Year-2023” on the basis of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Biology Zh. I. Kuanbai, a 3rd-year student of OP 6B05101-Biology Bakytzhan Dauletkhan, 2nd-year students Yakubova Zhemchuzhina and Ayapbergenov Meyrbek took the 2nd prize in the team competition.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, students of EP 6B05102-Biotechnology were awarded a 2nd degree diploma of the XXXXI International Scientific Research Competition “Light of Science-2023”. The scientific project was defended on the topic “Microbiological properties of oil-oxidizing substances.” Scientific supervisor – Ph.D., senior teacher Admanova G. B..

In the 2022-2023 academic year at the intra-university competition “Zhyl uzdigi”, organized as part of the Month of Science, the Department of Biology received the nomination “Best Department”.
