Achievements
Every year the department hosts a week of science, during which various events are held: a round table, a business game, an olympiad, a brain-ring, a student’s scientific conference. According to the results of the week of science, a report is drawn up.
The 3rd year students from 26-27 March 2015 took part in the Republican subject Olympiad under the direction of candidate of chemical sciences Buzova O.V Makhambetova J.K, Zhaumitovoy G.B. Students Utegenov D. and Tkachev A. took the 2nd place, speaking at the International Conference on March 27-28 in Shymkent. Student Sagyngaliev S. specialty HTIS the 3d year student took the 2nd place at the Republican subject Olympiad in Taraz
In 2015, under the leadership of Associate Professor Baymanova A.E. students Kairliyeva I. and Shaku I. took part in the Republican competition of scientific student projects “Zhahdanu” and took the 3rd place.
In 2016, under the guidance of candidate of chemical sciences, senior lecturer of the Department of Chemistry Agisheva A.A students of the 4th year U. Umirzakov, T. Elubayeva, 2ndyear student Temirtay A took 2nd team place (Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugirov, Taldykorgan).
In 2016, the students of the department took part in the republican subject Olympiad on the specialty 5В072000- ChTIS in Taraz city, on the specialty 5В072100- ChTOS in Almaty. The team of students in the specialty 5B072000- HTIS got the 3rd place, the student of the group ChTIS -3 Dektyarenko A. and the student of the group ChTOS-4 Nurlybay S. were awarded with diplomas of the 3d degree.
Teachers of the department were awarded with 5 jubilee medals and 2 letters of thanks in honor of the 50th anniversary of the ARSU named after K. Zhubanov for for achievements in education.
Annually, students demonstrate high academic performance (100%) and a high performance indicator (97.25%) following the session.
Since 2014, a student of the specialty “5В060600-Chemistry” Z.A. Khudaibergenova takes prizes at national and international Taekwondo tournaments
The 2nd year student of the specialty “5В060600-Chemistry” Kairoshev M is the winner of togyzkumalak championship.
March 29-31, 2017 at the ХIХ Republican subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Al-Farabi KazNU Almaty, students of the specialty 5B060600-Chemistry Dzhumagaliyev A., Zhumagazin A., An O. took the 2 nd place in the team competition (head candidate of chemistry science Agisheva AA).
At the ХIХ Republican subject Olympiad, held in 2017 in the Zhetisuisky State University named after I. Zhansugirova, students of the specialty 5B011200-Chemistry Temirtai A., Aymaganbetova P., Bimanova A. took the 1st place in the team competition (head candidate of chemistry science Agishev A.A.)

The team leader is a teacher of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology G. Beketova, participants: Muratkalyi Aliya, Alimzhanova Zhenisgul, Seiylkhanova Dana, Shamshadin Karlygash.

According to the results of the competition “START-UP-2017” a student of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology Zhanserikov Nurmukhammed became the winner in the nomination “Experimental Project” and became a finalist in the quarter finals of the republican competition “STARTUP Bolashak”: Menin Armanym;
